Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of pritalo.com and the Pritalo beta service. By accessing the website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
For requests submitted through Renting, the separate Rental Service Terms apply. Rental requests do not enroll you in a membership or use product-search allowances.
Beta search-assistance service
Pritalo is a buyer-first search-assistance service. You describe what you want, and we may research and send potentially relevant options. Pritalo is currently a manually operated beta, is available only for requests within the United States. Confirmed founding members receive the free service allowance described below for 12 months.
Not a marketplace or seller
Pritalo does not currently host seller listings, sell products, hold inventory, process purchases, accept payment for third-party products, or become a party to transactions between you and a third party. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Pritalo does not represent or act as an agent, broker, dealer, or fiduciary for any buyer, seller, landlord, tenant, or other party.
Founding-member offer: first 100 members
The first 100 confirmed members in the United States receive two personalized product-search requests per membership month for 12 months, free of charge. Submit your first request to reserve a place. We email you to verify your email address and confirm enrollment; submitting the form alone does not activate membership. Pending reservations count toward the 100 places. One membership per person; use the same email for every request.
Your free year begins when Pritalo activates your enrollment after your email reply. Each membership month runs from that activation date and time to the same day and time in the following month, using UTC. If that day does not exist, the period ends on the month's last day. Unused requests expire at the end of each period and do not roll over. Allowances are shared across the home, appliances, and gifts pages.
Your initial request counts toward month one. A request concerns one purchase need; follow-up questions and refinements to that same need do not use another request. Requests we decline as unable to service are returned to your allowance for their original membership month.
We review requests within one business day. If accepted, we confirm when to expect your researched recommendations by email. Results are not instant, and a particular match or purchase outcome is not guaranteed.
The research service is free; products, shipping, and other retailer charges are not included. No credit card is required. There is no automatic charge or paid renewal after 12 months. Any future paid plan requires your separate agreement. We may close enrollment for new members, but that does not shorten a confirmed member's free year.

Requests and communications
You must provide accurate information and a valid email address that belongs to you. Founding-member request allowances are described below. We generally aim to review requests within one business day, but this is a target rather than a guarantee. We may accept a request, ask for more information, decline it, or stop working on it. By submitting, you authorize Pritalo to email you about that request.
Third-party information and transactions
Matches may be compiled from public or third-party sources. Listings, prices, availability, specifications, descriptions, eligibility, and other details may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or changed without notice. Pritalo does not endorse or guarantee any third party, listing, product, service, property, vehicle, offer, or outcome.
You are responsible for independently verifying information, inspecting items when appropriate, assessing sellers and providers, reviewing contracts, and deciding whether to communicate with or transact with a third party. Any transaction is solely between you and that third party.
No professional advice
Pritalo provides general search assistance and information only. It does not provide legal, financial, tax, real-estate, automotive, medical, safety, or other professional advice. Seek qualified advice when appropriate.
Acceptable use
You may not use Pritalo to:
- Submit unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful requests.
- Impersonate another person or provide an email you cannot use.
- Interfere with, scrape, overload, or attempt to bypass the service.
- Submit malware or content that violates another person's rights.
- Use matches or communications for spam or unlawful solicitation.
Intellectual property
The Pritalo website, branding, design, text, and software are owned by Pritalo or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Third-party names, logos, listings, and content belong to their respective owners.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pritalo and the website are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will find a suitable match.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pritalo and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits or opportunities, or losses arising from third-party information, communications, products, services, or transactions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or terminate the service or your access when reasonably necessary, including for misuse or security reasons. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
